1 Box Saltine Crackers
2 Sticks of Butter
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 Cups Chocolate Chips
½ Cups of Toppings (M&Ms, Sprinkles, Carmel, etc.)
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Grab a cookie sheet and line it with aluminum foil. Spray the liberally with cooking spray. And line your cookie sheet with Saltine Crackers.
In a medium pan, over low heat, place 2 cups of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar to a rolling boil, stirring frequently as to not burn the mixture. You’ll know it’s done when the color of the mixture turns a nice caramel color.
Place pan in the oven for roughly 7-10 minutes (make sure to time it to not burn mixture). Remove from oven when ready and allow to cool slightly (2-3min).
