Bars Open Until 4 a.m.? In Philly, It's a Possibility

New city council bill could allow bars to stay open later.

Blondell Reynolds Brown, City Councilwoman in Philadelphia, has recently put forth a bill in which she has proposed to allow some of the city’s bars to stay open until 4 a.m. as opposed to the 2 a.m. time assigned by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. This suggestion has been made for generating more revenue for Philly schools should it get signed by the state legislators. After a long month of shocking upsets, ferocious battles – and absolute madness – the 2018 NCAA Basketball Tournament has come to an end. And one local team has found themselves on top yet again. Philadelphia has been an active agent in the US- Mexico bid for the 2026 World Cup.  Larry Needle, Executive Director of PHL Sports, told the Inquirer and Daily News that they feel confident in what they have submitted and local stakeholders were included in the process.
