Washington Crossing

A small, quaint town located along the Delaware River in beautiful Upper Makefield Township, Washington Crossing is located at the point between Newtown, Yardley, and New Hope.

There is plenty to see and do in this town, including riverside biking trails, a walking bridge to NJ, tasty restaurants (such as the historic Washington Crossing Inn), and the expansive Washington Crossing State Park that stretches across the river from PA to NJ. People from far and wide visit Washington Crossing on Christmas Day to visit the museum, witness the reenactment of the historic Battle of Trenton, and learn how it changed the course of the Revolutionary War for American Independence.

As a largely residential town with a small but active borough, there are an abundance of beautiful Colonial style homes, alongside other modern and traditional styles.
